Abstract

By means of the uranium-lead isotope technique, the dating of monazites from granites of the Voznesenskyi massif is carried out. The age of monazite and, thus, granites is 2034.6 ± 6.6 Ma. The granites were formed of a material of the upper crust according to the primary isotope ratio 87Sr/86Sr2030 (0.71351) for plagioclase from granite.
